About us

Cornucopia /ˌkôrn(y)əˈkōpēə/ (noun)- A symbol of plenty consisting of a goat's horn overflowing with flowers, fruit, and corn. Represents abundance and a bountiful harvest. It all started in Gilbert, AZ during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. We, the Severson family, had an overabundance of blackberries grown in our backyard. Using the extra berries and downtime, we created our very own blackberry wine. Harvested by sons Swen and Lars, cellared and bottled by Barry and son Brock, and taste-tested by wife/mom Adelaida, this wine is a family effort through and through. During the summer we were approached by neighbors to try brewing wine with different fruits; peaches, apricots, and more. What started out as a family hobby grew into a neighborhood hobby, and we hope it grows beyond that. With each bottle of Cornucopia, we wish to provide this similar feeling of belonging in abundance. Whether it be with your friends, family, or neighbors, celebrate your community around you!
