This day serves as a reminder to reflect on the ongoing impact of colonization and the importance of acknowledging the true history of the land we inhabit. In addition to community networking, the luncheon will feature a Coro alumna panel, moderated by Natalie Samarjian, discussing their leadership practices and the impact Coro has had on them. I'm grateful for the deep conversations, connections, and insights I gained through this program. I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Climate Resilience Leadership Network (CRLN) from Coro Southern California! It was a joy getting to know, work with, and learn from my incredibly talented CRLN cohort through this program. Having the opportunity to explore and apply the principles behind Accelerate Resilience L.A.’s Living Infrastructure Toolkit and Regenisis Institute’s living systems thinking facilitated my ability to see the potential of places and all the living systems associated and to take an asset-based development approach to honor those complex systems. Thank you to my CRLN colleagues for doing the good work as changemakers to make L.A. a more healthy and resilient city.

I am honored to share my selection to the Coro Southern California Women in Leadership (WIL) Fall 2024 cohort. WIL supports the leadership development of women, establishing a pipeline for professional advancement, and creating a cross-sector network of women who support each other’s leadership development. Over the next four months, I will gain valuable professional skills to enhance my capacity for impact and a network of other women professionals eager to support one another's leadership journey, all while reflecting on the issues facing women in the workplace.
