Our local community connected with us to help them come up with a solution to manage pond levels and their fish population. Our experts proposed an ORBINOX North America sluice gate with mechanical descaling, Bronze stop collars / bronze stop nuts and NSF approved lubricants by A.W. Chesterton. Next Step! 🎣 guard. Corrosion Products & Equipment, Inc. was recently called in to look at 442C XL split seal that was severely leaking on a recently refurbished pump and installed by an outside contractor (not CPE). After inspection, it became apparent that the rotary holder had been installed upside down essentially making metal to metal contact with gland. Our specialist, Dan Campiano, was able to rectify the situation quickly and get the customer up an running smoothly. We are here to help fix any pump, seal, base, flooring, concerns that you have, and, rest assured, our highly experienced and trained team will complete the task properly and effectively. Feild conversions can be a challange, but having the right MRO in the tool bag can save the day. CPE recently converted a 3700 GPM Morris pump from packing to a Chesterton 442 split mechanical seal. 723 SpraySolvo allowed us to remove the studs, which were corroded in the stuffing box. But the real hero was 860 moldeble gasketing! This product filled the gap between the stationary gland and the stuffing box. Miracle products by A.W. Chesterton and feild service by CPE. Feel free to call us for any rotating equipment reliability improvements. 585-247-3030 www.corrosion-products.com

We recently worked with a Western Massachusetts power plant to convert their boiler feed pump to use Chesterton 1810H 3.658" seals with a custom sleeve and gland from packing. The 1810H uses an advanced hydropad geometry seal face that improves film formation between the mechanical seal faces and significantly enhances face lubricity. The increased film formation between the faces reduces heat generation and increases seal life in high temperature applications. Interested in converting a split-seal to save your equipment from corrosion? (Pro-tip - you wont even have to pull your pump to make the conversion!) Learn more: https://hubs.la/Q02xN8fr0
