Music’s biggest night deserved a celebration to match! Residents at Coterie Cathedral Hill enjoyed a Grammy Award watch party with cocktails and delicious hors d’oeuvres. From legendary performances to history-making wins, it was a night to remember.

At just 5 years old, Rachel was separated from her parents and hidden in a convent to escape the Nazis. This International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor survivors like Rachel. Her incredible journey took her from Belgium to America, where she found safety, finished school and started a beautiful family. Now a resident at Coterie Hudson Yards, Rachel reflects on her remarkable life and the comfort she’s found in this community. “You can really feel the love,” she shares about the staff and residents. “It feels like family here,” says Linna, a Concierge at Coterie Cathedral Hill. As one of the first faces residents and visitors see, Linna brings warmth, care, and a welcoming spirit to everyone she meets. “I enjoy listening to residents’ stories about their pasts. It’s so interesting and meaningful to hear about their lives,” she shares. Her role goes beyond being a welcoming face. “We try our best to accommodate residents in every way possible, whether it’s coordinating with vendors, organizing tours, or helping with events,” Linna says. What a year! As we bid farewell to 2024, we’re filled with gratitude for all the amazing experiences we’ve had together. We’ve celebrated holidays together, explored museums, enjoyed incredible performances from talented singers and musicians, savored incredible meals crafted by our talented culinary team, and laughed together in moments of fun and friendship. Holiday spirit was in full swing during our recent social series event! Residents and guests gathered to celebrate the season with hot cocoa and festive treats. The event also embodied the true spirit of the holidays—giving back. Coterie Cathedral Hill held a toy drive in partnership with the San Francisco Fire Department while Coterie Hudson Yards worked with Citymeals on Wheels to provide holiday meals for those who are less fortunate. We’re thankful for the moments we shared, the laughter we heard, and the memories we made.

Over the past two years, she has grown from a role in housekeeping to providing direct care for residents. For Ranjana, her work is about more than tasks—it’s about connection. “I feel like the residents are my family members. I love being with them, communicating, and caring for them,” she shares. Her compassion and kindness shine through in her interactions. Ranjana is also grateful for the opportunities she’s had to grow within the company. “This place has changed my life,” she explains.
