We had the pleasure of hosting Mike Sommers of API - American Petroleum Institute in New Mexico to showcase our world class operations, highlight our amazing partners, and share the story of the Permian Basin. “My trip to Coterra’s facilities in New Mexico showed the company’s streamlining efficiencies in their operations and strong commitment to reducing methane emissions, making them among America’s leading energy producers. Engaging with community leaders, lawmakers and educators, I had the chance to learn just how much Coterra and their partners do for New Mexico, setting an example for businesses looking to make positive, local impacts.” We want to give special thanks to the Economic Development Corporation of Lea County for hosting us for lunch and New Mexico Junior College for allowing us to tour their new Industrial Training Facility designed for the future of our workforce. Lastly, thanks to all of our team members who joined throughout the day! #energyeducation #lightson

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time for reflection and raising awareness. At Coterra Energy, we stand in solidarity with those impacted, acknowledging the challenges they face and the resilience they demonstrate. Early detection saves lives. We encourage you to be proactive by scheduling your mammogram, performing regular self-exams, and spreading the word. Let's take a moment to honor the fighters, admire the survivors, and remember those we've lost.

Our Senior Vice President of Operations, Blake Sirgo, had the pleasure of sharing the stage at NMOGA’s Annual Meeting this afternoon to discuss our long-standing relationship in and with New Mexico. “The rock in New Mexico is special. This is a world-class asset—there are very few places in the world like this. We are proud of the industry’s strong track record in New Mexico and of our dedicated team. With over 100 employees in southeast New Mexico, many of whom have been with us since we drilled our first wells, we are committed to continuing our journey of responsible energy production in this unique region.” #EnergyIndustry #NewMexico #WorldClassAsset #NMOGA2024"

We’re more than excited to be at New Mexico Oil and Gas Association’s Annual Meeting- Energizing New Mexico. It was a very special moment to hear from API - American Petroleum Institute Mike Sommers address the crowd to provide an update on the outlook of the American Oil and Gas Industry. “The obituary for the oil and gas industry has been written many times, but because of the innovation of this industry has continued to supply the world’s need in an efficient, responsible manner. Even if we meet our climate goals under the Paris Climate Agreement, we believe that in 2050, 50% of the world’s energy will still come from oil and gas. That energy should come from here and particularly from the state of New Mexico.” Thanks for everything, NMOGA!
