Rich Nagler has been elected President for the Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, and Charles Chester rejoins the Board, serving previously from 2004-2012.     Nagler is a retired healthcare executive and committed to improving access to quality medical care for all. In 2024, he and his wife Janice established the Nagler Family Scholarship Fund through the SYVCH Foundation’s scholarship program to advance the future healthcare workforce in the community.    Charles is a retired stockbroker who has served the SYVCH Foundation Board in many roles and capacities, including as President, Vice President and Finance and Investment Committee Chair. Located right next to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital at 221 W. Pueblo St. in Santa Barbara, the new building houses a range of services, including cardiology, cardiovascular diagnostics, cardiothoracic surgery and women’s heart care. Join us for a Primary Grand Rounds on HIV Management for Primary Care Providers, designed to provide a practical approach to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) care and equip attendees with essential knowledge and skills to effectively manage patients diagnosed with HIV. Topics include diagnostic tests and result interpretation, how to discuss results sensitively and compassionately with patients, and steps to improve linkage to care and timely initiation of antiretroviral therapy.
