WELCOME TO COUGAR STRATEGY GROUP! CSG is an MBA-student led, professionally mentored Strategy Consulting Boutique at the BYU Marriott School of Business. Our business model provides emerging consultants and business leaders with access to real client experiences that turbocharge their business school experience. Likewise, we provide our clients with access to consulting expertise that accelerates their performance at a fraction of the cost of hiring a major consulting firm. We work in many areas; however, we have expertise in the following areas: New Market Entry. Our teams can help size and market and identify the first profitable segment to enter. Our analysis gives you more than just a number, but an in-depth analysis of key strategic drivers in that industry. We also look at the macro-economic and political environment to identify potential changes or disruptions. Product/ Market Fit. Our teams have helped clients determine which of several products to bring to market, or the features and benefits new products should contain. We use a mix of publicly available data and advanced interview and survey techniques to help you understand what creates value for customers. Teams also advise clients on go-to-market concerns and potential channels. Competitive Analysis. CSG consultants can help you understand your competitive environment, from your direct competitors and those in related industries that do the same customer job. We will assess their strength, their value proposition, and help your team understand how to respond most effectively.  Strategic Human Capital and HR. We have a practice area devoted to strategic HR issues. We’ve recently done work around selling the employee value proposition and managing a global workforce. Past work has focused on refining organizational communication and planning/preparing for leadership succession and transitions.  Health Care. We’re pleased to announce a new practice area in Health Care. Work in this area will involve students in a variety of majors beyond the MBA and will engage our excellent health care faculty and alumni mentors.
