Super proud of this truly extraordinary achievement by our team at Christiansburg Institute, Inc. Jennifer Nehrt , Demiah Smith, and Ashley Palazzo Ammer! 👏 👏 👏 Due to a generous grant award we received from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) in 2022, we created and launched one of the largest *free* online digital repositories, 'CI Digital Archives (CIDA)', in SWVA that focuses exclusively on African American history with an emphasis on the first high school in the region to educate formerly enslaved people - the Christiansburg Industrial Institute (CII). 🖤 🖥 Browse CIDA: https://lnkd.in/eUEqKtn7
