The November 5 General Election is just around the corner. Marin County Elections Department will begin mailing ballots to all active registered voters starting October 7. All ballots will include the candidates for President, Vice President, U.S. Senate, U.S. Representative, and State Assembly, along with 10 state propositions. Local races and measures will vary depending on where you live. Key dates include September 26 for county voter information guide mailings and October 21 as the last day to register. On September 24, the Marin County Probation Department, in collaboration with the Sheriff's Office and District Attorney, conducted a countywide DUI compliance check targeting 42 individuals with multiple DUI convictions. Of the 23 individuals contacted, all were found in compliance with their probation terms. This initiative, funded by the state’s Office of Traffic and Safety, helps reinforce public safety while supporting the rehabilitation of offenders. Officers also conducted drug tests, searches, and verified ignition interlock devices. In addition to compliance, officers engaged with the community, handing out stickers, teddy bears, and even buying ice cream for children. These proactive steps build trust and support community safety. #MarinCounty #DUICheck #CommunitySafety -- El 24 de septiembre, el Departamento de Libertad Condicional del Condado de Marin, en colaboración con la Oficina del Sheriff y la Fiscalía del Distrito, realizó una verificación de cumplimiento de DUI a nivel condado, dirigida a 42 individuos con múltiples condenas por DUI.
