You don't need me to tell you: Promoting your tennis club is endless (hard) work! But, I think these 9 things are a great reference to come back to/help you kick things off: 1. Understand your audience 2. Build a strong brand presence 3. Make sure your website is up to date 4. Create a marketing schedule 5. Get social 6. Reach out to the community 7. Host your own open day 8. Host special events and tournaments 9. Using email marketing tools Thanks to my marketing team for compiling this! Ideally your promotions lead to revenue, boosted brand awareness, access to new players/markets, and overall growth. The easiest way to start is always with your "target customer". But yes, there's more to it. A good promotional strategy can be one of your clubs most competitive drivers. The key is to connect with your community and deliver on the promise of your marketing. It's all about trust. What promotions have been working for you? P.s. Looks like Google is picking up more of our optimized blogs 🤓 ___ Give this a repost ♻️ to help others & follow me for more on tennis & pickleball club management.

As CourtReserve gears up for another busy conference season, I wanted to share some thoughts on how to make the most out of these invaluable events as a vendor. Conferences are not just about showcasing your product—they’re about building relationships, learning, and growing. First and foremost, allow yourself and your team the chance to network and connect with other vendors. Building relationships and finding potential collaborators can open doors to new opportunities and partnerships that might not have been possible otherwise. Remember, it's always beneficial to have a strong network in your industry. And nothing beats the in-person connection you get with real customers and industry folks. Be present and make the most out of those conversations, even when you’re super tired! Face-to-face interactions provide valuable insights into customer needs and preferences and help build stronger, more personal relationships. It’s these moments that often lead to the most meaningful business growth. Finally, stay inspired and keep learning. Attend any and all sessions that you can (you never know what you could learn!), listen to keynotes, and engage in workshops. The knowledge you gain and the inspiration you receive will not only benefit your personal growth but also provide new ideas and strategies for your business. Conferences can be a whirlwind, but with the right mindset and approach, they can be incredibly rewarding! So, if you’ll be at an upcoming conference or event for your business, let this be a reminder to be present, stay engaged, and most importantly, enjoy the opportunity to connect and grow. Will we see you at PickleCon 2024 next month? Come see us!

“Your tennis/pickleball club experience is what turns your visitors into die-hard members”. Read that again. Now, what if the software YOU use could transform every visit into an unforgettable experience? And, an unforgettable member experience lies in the software you use to manage your club. My own club, Old Coast Pickleball, wouldn’t be what it was today without my software running it. We built CourtReserve for this specific eventuality. I had seen passionate owners lose their best members because of outdated technology (yes, pen & paper is still ‘technology’ lol). In fact, I was one of those members myself. Until I built the solution for my local tennis club at the time. And well, the rest is history. 1500+ clubs later and CourtReserve is digitizing clubs new and old, left and right. It’s cool to see how open Owners are too. Change is hard. I do get it. But on the other side is a world of opportunity. The time saved alone is enough to inspire you to open multiple locations, hire better pros and even diversify your offering to turn your club into a hub where people come to hang out as much as they do to play sports. You know how Starbucks isn’t really about the coffee? That is true for many tennis and pickleball clubs. It’s really about the community. Don’t get me wrong, sports are obviously super important, but we humans crave connection and social relations. So, invest in software that supports your club’s unique needs and watch as your community thrives. 🚥Still on the fence about which vendor to choose? Unhappy with the alternatives? We are trying to help as many Owners as possible make the best decision about court reservation software. And look, I know that means sometimes, for whatever reasons, you won’t end up on CourtReserve – but I do want to give you every chance to consider us 🙂 LinkedIn doesn't like this, but here is a direct link 👇 https://lnkd.in/e8c6KAvS ___ Give this a repost ♻️ to help others & follow me for more on tennis & pickleball club management.

“Tim, should I switch to CourtReserve?” This got me thinking about the triggers that make tennis & pickleball club owners look for court reservation software. Quick backstory: We get so many referrals. ‘Word of mouth’ consistently drives about a third or so of our new sign-ups. Ads for our lead magnets (ebooks) drive another ⅓ or so. For the other ⅓, our “silent buyers” – as my Marketing Manager calls them – are searching and researching on Google/Bing, and eventually our website. This crowd is trickier. We won’t always hear from the visitors who don’t start a trial or book one of our famous Product Overviews. And, when I do speak to Owners who are on the fence… it’s nearly always about the level information vendors can provide to help them make an informed decision. So, it’s usually that and timing. Some owners are thinking way ahead of time – before they even have a lot of land to build their new facility! A story for another day. 🚦Before you make your decision on court reservation software... - Ask yourself and your team some questions (see the graphic), and read our latest epic 5,307 word article we published: ‘What is Court Reservation Software?
