Brianna began her career in healthcare after earning dual bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Healthcare Management from Concordia College and went on to earn two master’s degrees in Health Systems Management and Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University. She joined our organization in 2016 as an Administrator at North Park Health and Rehab before earning her first promotion to Area Director of Operations, overseeing eight facilities. Under her leadership, Brianna has consistently achieved outstanding results, improved patient care, and fostered a collaborative work environment. It is successes like these which Gary and Malisa Blake, along with the Executive Officers of Creative Solutions in Healthcare, have decided make Brianna the perfect fit for this new role. Brianna is excited to bring her skillset and experience into her new position, sharing that she is "committed to ensuring all of our facilities thrive" and is "looking forward to this new challenge." Gary & Malisa Blake are proud to announce the promotion of Auston Clanton to Chief Operations Officer, effective January 1, 2025. Auston will succeed Karen Johnson, who is retiring after 14 years of dedicated service.   Gary Blake, President and CEO, expressed, “Malisa and I are thrilled to see Auston step into his new role. Auston’s promotion is a natural progression of his remarkable career with us. He has the talent and vision to build on the solid foundation that Karen Johnson established over her 14 years of leadership. We’re confident that his leadership will lead us to great success."   Auston has spent his entire career with Creative Solutions. In 2012, he started as an HR Coordinator at Silver Tree Nursing where he completed his AIT. His first experience as an administrator was at Cedar Creek, where he helped transition the building through its acquisition. He quickly advanced through several leadership positions including Area Administrator, Area Manager of Operations, and Area Director of Operations. In November 2021, he became the Divisional Vice President of Operations for the East. Since his time in this role, he has helped to grow our company and overall quality standards. Karen’s impact on our organization has been nothing short of transformative. As the company’s first ever COO, She joined Creative Solutions in 2010 when we were just 30 facilities strong. Under her leadership, we’ve grown to 170 facilities, becoming the largest operator in Texas and the fifth largest in the nation. Karen’s visionary leadership, dedication, and talent for mentoring future leaders have been key to our success. Since the start of the summer, Creative Solutions in Healthcare has proudly welcomed 10 facilities into our family! Tied for Top Dietary White Glove Score of the Year is Cynthia Molina, CDM CFPP at Kenedy Health & Rehab, and Judy Hodges, CDM, CFPP at The Arbors Healthcare and Rehab. The first ever Social Media Award went to Amanda Edmonds, CDM, CFPP at Mineral Wells Nursing & Rehab. We would also like to honor some of our incredible CDMs for their outstanding outcomes: Misty Goodman, CDM, CFPP at Dogwood Trails Manor, Edee Borger, CDM, CFPP at Greenbrier Nursing of Palestine, Sandra Garcia, CDM, CFPP at Huebner Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center, Kristi Pinkney, CDM, CFPP at Greenbrier Nursing & Rehab Center of Tyler Texas, and Lola Story, CDM, CFPP at CARE Nursing and Rehabilitation. As May comes to a close, so does the end of Speech Therapy Month! To celebrate, we visited the team at The Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation, where Stephanie Drake, SLP, shared her knowledge, expertise, and passion for speech therapy. Our Speech Language Pathologists across all of our facilities work day in and day out to improve the lives of our residents. Whether it be by implementing speech strategies, doing cognition exercises, or working through swallowing difficulties, our SLPs make a world of difference for so many. To our Speech Therapy Department, and our incredible partners at QRM (Quality Rehab Management), thank you for your dedication to providing high quality care. We appreciate all that you do!
