Credit Builders Alliance (CBA) is an innovative, non-profit social enterprise that empowers a diverse and growing network of hundreds of nonprofits to help low- and moderate-income individuals and families build strong credit and other financial assets. Our Philosophy: Good credit is essential to achieving and maintaining financial stability. This is an elusive goal for millions of low-income and underserved individuals and families excluded from the credit mainstream. CBA believes that mission driven nonprofits are uniquely positioned to help these struggling households build credit as an asset. 📣 Colorado Housing and Finance Authority’s (CHFA) Report on Colorado’s Rent Reporting for Credit Pilot Program Check out the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) report on Colorado's Rent Reporting for Credit Pilot Program, which ran from October 1, 2021, through April 1, 2024. The program, created under the Rent Reporting for Credit Pilot Program Act passed by the Colorado General Assembly in May 2021, offers some impressive results. Key highlights: ▪️6 participating landlords enrolled 443 renters, with 381 remaining active by the end of the report ▪️The average credit score increase for participating renters was 62 points ▪️50% of participants had an annual income of less than $25,000.
