🍩 What a sweet morning! Team CREOKS had a blast delivering donuts to the amazing seniors at the Broken Arrow Senior Center. We loved chatting with everyone and sharing information about our senior services. Such a wonderful place!

CREOKS was invited to participate in the Fall Tahlequah Cares Community Outreach Event, sponsored by the Tahlequah Resource Outreach Team (TROT). The focus was to help meet the needs of those experiencing homelessness or at-risk populations in our community. The event offered free food, drinks, live music, and connection to local resources. Our Tahlequah team shared the comprehensive health, wellness, and social services we provide at CREOKS. CREOKS is certified and partially funded by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

The CREOKS team from Catoosa and Claremore took part in the World Mental Health Day event held at Rogers State University. Our team had the opportunity to share information about the comprehensive support services available at CREOKS. Remember, mental health challenges can affect anyone, making it essential for us to uplift one another and not feed into the stigma surrounding it. Team CREOKS participate in the 2024 NAMI Oklahoma Annual Conference. The event provided thought-provoking sessions tailored for individuals navigating their mental health journey, their families and friends, mental health advocates, and professionals in the field. Our team shared about the many integrated services available at CREOKS that can support those on their mental health journey. CREOKS Broken Arrow staff had a rewarding experience connecting with families at the Native American Coalition of Tulsa Headstart health fair and highlighting our health and wellness resources.

CREOKS Tahlequah participated in the Cherokee County Health Department's Elderbration, a health fair for seniors. The event included a keynote speaker, workshops, resources, health screenings, and flu shots.

CREOKS was invited to participate in the 918 Health Fair, hosted by Uma Tulsa. The event brought together various local organizations offering a range of health services and screenings. Our team had the opportunity to share information about the comprehensive support services available at CREOKS, including those for development, mental health, physical health, and more. CREOKS participated in the YMCA's Welcoming Week Mental Health event, a nationwide celebration of diversity and inclusion. The event promotes cross-cultural understanding and awareness of the benefits of welcoming immigrants and U.S.-born residents alike.
