Announcing our final individual award winner from the 2024 CREW DC Awards, the Raise Up Your Voice recipient, Marie Purkert of Kimley-Horn. With 16 years of experience, Marie is an accomplished commercial real estate professional, respected corporate strategist, and dedicated leader in advancing inclusivity and equity within the industry. In her previous role as Senior Director of Corporate Strategy and Principal at christopher consultants ltd/IMEG, Marie co-founded the Network of Women, a program fostering professional growth and development for women through educational and mentoring opportunities. She also served as an Executive Advisor and Champion of the DEI Committee, which provides scholarships to high school students with financial need who aspire to careers in CRE or seek to diversify the industry. Marie has been an active member of the Professional Development (PD) Committee and led the DEI Subcommittee, which evolved into the chapter’s DEI Council. This council now influences all chapter initiatives with a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and community impact.
