Congratulations to providers Fri Longtchi, NP, and Melissa Cervantes, PA, on receiving our quarterly Chief Medical Officer Award! Fri has been with Patriot Urgent Care—our urgent care brand in Maryland—for a little over eight months. Fri consistently provides excellent patient care at the busy Prince Frederick location, as evidenced by the over 400 five-star patient reviews she has received since January. Melissa has been with Peachtree Immediate Care in Georgia for over a year and works at several clinics in the northeast Atlanta area. She has developed a strong rapport with her teammates and displays excellent bedside manners with patients. Earlier this month, our location in Douglasville, Georgia, reopened to patients after being closed since June for renovations. The updated facility now includes an improved layout for better patient experience, staff workflow, functionality, and aesthetics. Big thanks to the internal teams who were instrumental in this project: John Richmond, SVP of Corporate Development; AJ Segal, Director of Construction; Vanessa Lind, Senior Director of Special Projects; NaKenya Lewis, MBA, Regional VP of Operations; Susan Bruce, Regional Director of Operations; the marketing team for all of their assistance; and all of our Douglasville staff who flexed to other locations during the closure. We’d also like to thank our external partners, Chattahoochee Construction Group and Place Maker Design, for their expertise and professionalism throughout the process.

Congratulations to former Peachtree Immediate Care medical assistant, LT Robert Goldin, MC, USN, on recently earning his Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Services University F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine. Dr. Goldin began his career in medicine in 2019 as an MA at the Peachtree Immediate Care location in Brookhaven, Georgia, after graduating from Oglethorpe University. Of course, 2020 also brought on an unexpected experience of helping test patients for COVID-19. "I learned how to triage the patient, take a history, draw up medications, deliver medications, give injections, do X-rays, splint fractures, clean wounds, draw blood, and give IVs," said Dr. Goldin. "It gave me a really good exposure to understand all the things that go into delivering great patient care. Having that clinical experience gave me a really good foundation to connect the dots in my clinical years of med school." Dr. Goldin will now begin his residency in family medicine at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. Thank you for your service, and we're proud to be a part of your personal journey in medicine. Congratulations to Eliyahu Wiener, PA-C, a recipient of a recent quarterly CMO Award! Eli has been with CRH Healthcare, LLC for almost two years and works at our Patriot Urgent Care clinic in Eldersburg, Maryland. It was clear from the moment Eli came on board that he was not only an excellent clinician but also had a gracious and positive attitude. Eli is able to see high patient volumes while maintaining his composure and not compromising patient care. He is efficient and has a unique ability to connect with his patients and effectively lead his staff. He has been gracious enough to work with new providers to the practice and help train them to uphold our clinical standards, all while continuing to work in a busy center. Stephanie's favorite part of her job is "building relationships with patients." She consistently receives 5-star Google reviews from our patients, who frequently comment on her friendly personality, which creates smiles and laughs among them (and her co-workers). Stephanie also serves as an ambassador for Peachtree Immediate Care with the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce GA, where she enjoys attending meetings and events to support the local community. In honor of #NationalNursesDay, meet Kourtney Davis DNP, FNP-C! Kourtney has been with the company for almost three years and works at the Peachtree Immediate Care location in Johns Creek, Georgia. Kourtney is a strong clinician who has been a faithful and reliable member of the team throughout her tenure with Peachtree Immediate Care. She is a leader in her center, and her devotion to excellent patient care inspires both the staff and patients. Notably, Kourtney recently encountered two cardiac arrests within a one-week time period. The quick thinking and calm, collective nature of Kourtney and her team ensured that both of these patients were successfully resuscitated before being transported by EMS. One of the patients actually returned to the clinic to thank Kourtney for saving their life. Kourtney also recently received our Chief Medical Officer Award for the first quarter of 2024. We are truly thankful she is a member of our team!
