After two months of renovation, our Peachtree Immediate Care clinic in Hiram, Georgia, is once again open and treating patients. The updated facility now boasts a layout that improves the patient experience, staff workflow, functionality, and aesthetics. Big thanks to our internal team who were instrumental in this project: John Richmond, SVP of Corporate Development; AJ Segal, Director of Construction; Dahlia Polk, Regional VP of Operations; Cortney Lynn, Regional Director of Operations; the marketing team for all of their assistance; and all of the Hiram staff who flexed to other nearby locations during the temporary closure. Congratulations to former Peachtree Immediate Care medical assistant, LT Robert Goldin, MC, USN, on recently earning his Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Services University F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine. Dr. Goldin began his career in medicine in 2019 as an MA at the Peachtree Immediate Care location in Brookhaven, Georgia, after graduating from Oglethorpe University. Of course, 2020 also brought on an unexpected experience of helping test patients for COVID-19. "I learned how to triage the patient, take a history, draw up medications, deliver medications, give injections, do X-rays, splint fractures, clean wounds, draw blood, and give IVs," said Dr. Goldin. "It gave me a really good exposure to understand all the things that go into delivering great patient care. Having that clinical experience gave me a really good foundation to connect the dots in my clinical years of med school." Dr. Goldin will now begin his residency in family medicine at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. Thank you for your service, and we're proud to be a part of your personal journey in medicine. In honor of #NationalNursesDay, meet Kourtney Davis DNP, FNP-C! Kourtney has been with the company for almost three years and works at the Peachtree Immediate Care location in Johns Creek, Georgia. Kourtney is a strong clinician who has been a faithful and reliable member of the team throughout her tenure with Peachtree Immediate Care. She is a leader in her center, and her devotion to excellent patient care inspires both the staff and patients. Notably, Kourtney recently encountered two cardiac arrests within a one-week time period. The quick thinking and calm, collective nature of Kourtney and her team ensured that both of these patients were successfully resuscitated before being transported by EMS. One of the patients actually returned to the clinic to thank Kourtney for saving their life. Kourtney also recently received our Chief Medical Officer Award for the first quarter of 2024. We are truly thankful she is a member of our team!

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, meet Alexandria Hodges, LPC, NCC, our licensed behavioral health provider. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Georgia State University and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC).  Alex has a warm spirit that is inviting to all her clients. She is passionate about helping her clients discover their true potential and live meaningful lives by boosting their self-confidence and equipping them with tools to overcome emotional challenges. She uses a variety of techniques and theories based on the unique needs of the individual, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. Alex believes that slowing down from everyday life stressors and focusing on the moment allows individuals to find greater self-awareness and recognize their potential. She also believes in establishing a strong therapeutic relationship to foster growth and encourages clients to take part in a collaborative working process. Alex has worked with adults facing trauma, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem challenges. Additionally, she is experienced in serving clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. With her extensive experience and compassionate approach, she is dedicated to guiding clients toward a path of personal growth and well-being. Recently, the CRH Healthcare, LLC Training Team held annual validation training for Peachtree Immediate Care regional staff at the Austell location. Regional Clinical Coordinators, Regional Clinical Trainers, and Regional Front Desk Trainers received hands-on training on all aspects of patient care and operations, such as improving customer service opportunities, patient intake, and relevant skills for ensuring patient safety. The day’s themes—complete with t-shirts and plush pickles—were “What is your pickle?” and “You’re kind of a big dill.” 🥒
