A real important article by Jon Reed on what the REAL value of generative #AI is as opposed to what is hyped. And what the impact will be on mere mortals - this crucial question has not yet been answered, and likely cannot be. One point strikes me as really interesting “Let's say you get your AI output accuracy rate on legal documentation (or police reports, yikes) to 95% or even a bit higher. In turn, don't we run a risk that humans will start to rubber stamp these approvals, since many of them are accurate? What if we miss one that has real human fallout?” Let’s assume that the AI’s output accuracy is as high as the one of the trusty ole human colleague. I’d argue that with the human creating the documentation, rubberstamping is long in place. Interesting article by Graham Hill (Dr G). I wouldn’t say that I agree with everything, though. One core point is that technology is not what helps customers - as long as there is no shift to outside-in thinking by businesses. Apparently too many of them haven’t yet received the memo that working with the #customer instead of making him/her an object pays off big time.
