Crew Spotlight! 📣 History: The Croell Inc. North Platte Asphalt Plant was purchased in 2018 and has been a fixture for the city of North Platte and surrounding areas. The crew has been doing an outstanding job in serving customers and maintaining their plant to help Croell be a leading provider of asphalt in the North Platte and surrounding areas. Greatest Accomplishment: This plant has produced several thousand tons of asphalt mix for the Gray Bull Golf Club in Maxwell, NE this year. Also suppling several thousand tons to Lincoln County for their roads, UPPR railroad crossings and Imperial, NE city street projects and will continue to supply the local area asphalt needs. What's to Come: The North Platte Asphalt Plant is one of many assets in the North Platte area and will continue to strive and fulfill all of the area's needs. The Commercial Motor Vehicle Association and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is conducting safety inspections targeted specifically at commercial vehicle braking systems. ✅ GOAL - reduce number of crashes caused by faulty brake systems. ⚠️ Largest percentage of out-of-service citations during roadside inspections. 🔍 Inspectors look for the following: 🔩 loose/missing parts 💦 air/hydraulic fluid leaks ⚫ worn linings/pads/drums/rotors 🚥 anti-lock braking system indicator lights 🚨 Avoid a ticket and drive safely by: conducting pre-trip inspections and making necessary repairs!
