About us
Founders and brothers O.P. and W.T. Crowder started Crowder Construction Company in 1947, laying the foundation for excellence. Through the years, Crowder has built many projects ranging from bridges and highways to dams, power plants, water treatment plants and buildings, but these projects are just a piece of our legacy. Today, Crowder remains a family-owned company under the leadership of Otis and Bill Crowder, sons of O.P. and W.T. Crowder. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, the company has grown into a multi-division business with more than 1,000 full-time employees in various offices across four states. Crowder Constructors Inc. performs work across the southeastern U.S. under its wholly-owned subsidiaries: Crowder Construction Company and Crowder Industrial Construction LLC.

The Graham Wastewater Treatment Plant has completed construction phase #1, and we have begun work on construction phase #2 over the last few months. Demolition has been completed and new concrete work has started in biological nutrient removal (BNR) tanks 3&4. Concrete work is complete and mechanical work at the digesters is nearing completion. At the maintenance building, Crowder and subcontractors have finished wall framing, window installation, and have moved the electrical equipment into the building. The next steps on the project are to continue concrete work at BNR tanks 3&4, finish mechanical and electrical work at the digesters, and continue to push subcontractors at the maintenance building. We are also beginning major mechanical activities at the return activated sludge (RAS) pump station #1, tertiary filters, chlorine contact, and the sludge thickening building. #construction #watertreatment #projectupdates

Crowder's 63rd Annual Fish Fry was a success! On Thursday, October 17th, we served over 500 people, including employees, Crowder "Old Timers" (retirees), family members, vendors, clients, and community partners. Thank you to everyone who put in hard work behind the scene, and thank you to those of you who came out to support this event. It was the perfect night for sharing a meal and catching up with everyone in attendance!
