💧In honor of National Water Quality Month, we want to highlight some of the ways we have contributed to protecting Utah's water quality. Our team has a long history of supporting water quality initiatives in Utah. For instance, in 2011, we assisted Weber County in managing Emergency Watershed Protection projects. We provided essential review services and acted as the County's agent in managing the program, including restoring multiple Weber River segments and connected structures. One key approach Utah uses to protect water quality is developing and implementing Watershed Protection Plans (WPPs). These comprehensive strategies are designed to maintain or improve water quality within a watershed, addressing specific water quality issues to provide long-term sustainability. Our railroad design team, led by Clint Allen, PE and Darren Eyre, PE has played a pivotal role in developing rail-served industrial parks and railroad infrastructure locally and nationwide. They have worked with railroads and state agencies, established important relationships, and gained a thorough understanding of the design process and standards for various types of projects. Today, our rail team is one of the country's eight industry-approved design consultants for Union Pacific Railroad. In celebration of National Pickleball Day, we wanted to highlight a project where we designed a 3,000-GPM well house, pump station, and five post-tension pickleball courts for the Sandy Flat Iron Park.
