This #ConstructionInclusionWeek, we are celebrating supplier diversity! We're fortunate to work with subcontractors, vendors and industry partners whose diverse backgrounds and life experiences add valuable perspectives to our work. One firm we want to especially shoutout today for their uniqueness in our industry is KCG Services, a woman-owned drywall and acoustical contractor that works with us on so many transformative projects throughout our community. Led by owner Brooke Jenkins, KCG services has done outstanding work on Jacobsen projects for clients such as Merit Medical, Intermountain Health, Tooele Technical College and many more. Thank you for your continued partnership! #BuiltForLife #WomenOwnedBusinesses

Scott Braithwaite, EVP of self-perform work at Jacobsen, presented to the American Concrete Institute Intermountain Chapter today about the structural concrete work required to bring Astra Tower to its 456-foot height. The luxury residential destination, now Utah’s tallest high-rise, required close coordination between Jacobsen’s self-perform concrete crews and the project designers, engineers and developers in order to reach its full stature on schedule and with the high quality expected, according to Braithwaite. Ultimately, these efforts resulted in a tower that is plumb within three eighths of an inch from top to bottom. “Collaboration was absolutely essential,” Braithwaite said. #BuiltForLife
