Congrats to our collaborators Elijah Sacchitella, Seth Hubbard and Stephen Polly for winning Area 3 best power award at IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference. The poster with the title "Demonstration of Substrate Reuse using Acoustic Spalling on GaAs based Photovoltaics" showcased our work on GaAs for PV applications with Rochester Institute of Technology and Arizona State University.

We're honored and delighted to have brought the grand prize back home with us to Phoenix, marking a significant milestone in our journey at Crystal Sonic. The 2024 Lam Capital Venture Competition has concluded! 🚀 This Monday, we brought together over 200 chip technologists, investors, and entrepreneurs at Lam Research to explore the future of semiconductors and to award a $250,000 investment to the winning startup. Our focus was on key semiconductor technologies crucial for the development of future chips, including advanced packaging, higher manufacturing productivity solutions, compound semi & CMOS integration, integrated optics and photonics, 2D materials and processes, and smart tools. Congratulations to the winner Crystal Sonic (CEO Arno Merkle) and runner-up LIDROTEC (CEO Alexander Igelmann)! Our poster "Sonic Lift-off to Enable Substrate Reuse of Bulk GaN and SiC Substrates" won the best poster award at CS MANTECH in Tucson, Arizona.
