Last Friday, CSArch joined students, faculty, and community members of Cohoes CSD for a ribbon cutting at the start of the varsity football game to celebrate the new Alumni Field. As eSports programs continue to grow on college campuses nationwide, we're excited to lend our design expertise to create state-of-the-art spaces where competitive gaming can take place! At the University at Albany, eSports athletes now have a dedicated space to compete at the highest level and explore their passions in competitive gaming. Described as a hub of energy, creativity and innovation, the new space will bolster recruitment efforts and allow UAlbany to continue to grow and develop its eSports program for years to come. To supplement the multi-purpose turf field, which was completed by CSArch in 2016, the running track and field events at Albany High School were recently replaced with updated markings and D-zone areas. A new concession building and bathroom facilities on the south side of the bleachers improve accessibility and enhance the overall experience for all community members. #designthatinspires #aec #athleticfield
