Another year of serving ✨STAR✨ quality to our members! 🎉 We are thrilled to announce that our Chapter has received the 2024 Star Chapter Award from PRSSA National! 🌟 This recognition is a testament to our leadership and dedication to providing outstanding programming and opportunities to our members. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our success! Let’s continue to strive for excellence together.

Last Wednesday, we had our last panel of the semester! The panels this semester had an amazing turnout, great speakers, and an amazing board behind the scenes making these panels a success. We want to give you an overview of what it takes to make a panel happen: Our VP of Professional Development Athena Miranda Nguyen and her committee who helps to secure and research professionals for our panels, our Presidents Emily Vázquez and Adrianna Harper, who help to organize and lead our board throughout panel day, our VP of Diversity and Inclusion Samantha Toledo, who organized and prepared an entire DEI panel, VP of Events Natalia Ramirez and her committee who helps to set up and prepare for each event, Our VP of University Relations Andrea Agustin who secures funding for food and drinks, Our VP of Digital Communications Maggie Ho who makes content and graphics to spread awareness of the panels, VP of Sponsorships and Fundraising Emily Manetta supports our board despite looking for sponsors and preparing for fundraisers, VP of Administration, Betzy Hernandez who helps to check people in, VP of Outreach Susana Leon who helps to welcome members in, VP of Finance Nicolas Perez who helps to support the board and guide them in all things finances for events, and lastly but definitely not least, our amazing advisor Ken Hagihara, APR, Fellow PRSA, MCM to help guide us throughout the event process. As you can see, a lot and a whole team goes into planning for a panel and making sure it runs successfully. We're incredibly proud to have an e-board (and their amazing committees) who all have many other commitments continue to show up to make these fantastic events happen. Before this semester closes, we have a few more events coming up, prepared by yours truly, CSUF PRSSA. Post-Grad Workshop on Friday, April 12 at 10 am (TSU Gabrielino) Socal Coalition Beach Bonding on Saturday, April 13 at 3pm-7pm Angels Game Monday 4/29 at 6:38pm (Thank you Ken for the tickets!) 2 (possibly) Agency Tours We look forward to seeing you all at our last few events!

Another well-attended, impactful, and informative panel last evening, hosted by Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at California State University, Fullerton! The Diversity in Public Relations panel featured Betty Martinez Franco, MPA, Quenton McKenzie Buckhalter, MMC, and EJ Stancil, who shared their experiences and insights into addressing the importance and challenges of implementing DEI in the workplace. Thank you, Betty, Quenton, and EJ for taking time out of your busy schedules to discuss this important topic with these future public relations professionals! Thank you Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at California State University, Fullerton for having me out for your Spring Kickoff! It truly was surreal being back in the front of the room (IN-PERSON) at my alma mater, but this time as a professional. Thank you to Emily Vázquez, Adrianna Harper, Athena Miranda Nguyen, Ken Hagihara, APR, Fellow PRSA, MCM and the rest of the CSUF PRSSA team for the warm welcome back. Also, thank you to the lovely Priyanka Jain for the company and the continued support throughout the years. All I have left to say is… GO TITANS!

I had a great time returning to Cal State Fullerton for Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at California State University, Fullerton’s spring kickoff! Alongside friend/past president Kristen Anne Cuaresma, I had the opportunity to speak to current students about how this organization transformed my professional growth as a student and beyond🐘 My time in PRSSA got me a network of mentors, lifelong friends and a whole lot of resources for career development. It was truly one of the best desicions I made in undergrad🙌🏻 Congrats to the current executive board for continuing 55 years of PRSSA legacy! Super excited to see the future of this amazing chapter💙🧡

Extremely proud to learn that Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at California State University, Fullerton has been selected to host the 2024 PRSSA International Conference in Anaheim, California, this October! The last time PRSSA ICON was in Southern California was in 2019 in San Diego - and was hosted by CSUF PRSSA! I'm so proud of the PRSSA ICON 2024 Conference Committee: Leslie Mendez, Bettina Calaquian, Emily Manetta, and Natalia Ramirez! They put together an amazing conference proposal and I truly believe this is going to be an EPIC conference!! Congratulations team!!

Tonight Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at California State University, Fullerton had our Spring Kickoff (and we are also celebrating our 55th year as a chapter)! It’s my greatest pleasure to be President of this chapter alongside Emily Vázquez and work with such an amazing executive board. It feels as though just yesterday I was the freshman attending kickoff, and now in my last semester, I get to see a whole new group of students begin their journey with PRSSA⭐️
