Exciting announcement! CSX has secured new five-year tentative agreements with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and National Conference of Firemen & Oilers (NCFO), plus a ratified labor agreement with SMART-TD yardmasters. These agreements were finalized before the existing collective agreements became amendable under the federal Railway Labor Act, and offer our #ONECSX team enhanced wages, improved health care, and increased paid time off. The finale of CSX Locomotive Engineer Delmar Browning’s exemplary 47-year career also marks the first act of his son Byrce’s career as a locomotive engineer trainee. Over the years, Delmar’s dedication to safely getting the job done helped set the standard for many of his #ONECSX teammates and inspired his son to join the “family” business. Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement, Delmar! We know Bryce will keep the Browning’s CSX #FamilyTies strong as he proudly continues the railroader tradition his father began.
