What a great week! Nine of our newest District Managers joined us at hCube (our corporate headquarters) to participate in our DM201 program. During this week-long course, DMs who are in their first 3-6 months with CubeSmart, come together for additional training to support their continued growth. The group learned a lot and laughed a lot too! "I joined CubeSmart right after graduating college just over 6 years ago. I worked as an Analyst on our Third Party Management team, supporting property owners and helping them maximize the value of their self-storage properties. In that role, I developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills which led to an opportunity on the Investments Team. For the last 4 years, I’ve worked to evaluate and recommend real estate investment decisions which drives growth for CubeSmart. I have been fortunate to work with leaders who foster a collaborative environment, prioritize learning and development, and recognize you when you produce positive results. Our Human Resources team spends so much time caring for our teammates; but last week, they took some time to care for our community, too. The team got artistic as they decorated boxes to that will be filled and delivered by the Chester County Food Bank to their homebound recipients. In addition to spreading love through drawings and kind sayings, they also made a generous donation for school-aged children who need a little extra help in the summertime without the assistance of school programs. And, of course, they had fun with each other while making a difference beyond the team. #GenuineCare #MakeADifference

Lola and Preston joined us this summer and have made a huge difference to our teams while gaining experience in the corporate world. "This summer I was given the opportunity to intern in the HR department at CubeSmart. I am eternally grateful for this experience and have learned valuable recruiting skills.
