While the world enjoys the Olympics, our team at Culminate competed in the SOC Olympics—DEFCON’s CTRL+ALT+DETECT competition (previously OpenSOC). I’m thrilled to announce that Culminate (team `cul`) placed in the top 3 among 104 teams! This is a huge milestone for our security industry: 1. Culminate ranked #1 in human efficiency. With our AI SOC analyst, our team scored 12X more than 80% of teams and was 50% more efficient than the first-place team (we have much fewer human contestants). 2. We are the only SOC AI analyst company to prove its capabilities in a large-scale and realistic public competition, demonstrating the speed and accuracy of AI SOC analysts in detection, investigation, and threat hunting. We’re already saving tens of thousands of hours for our customers' SOCs, and our dream is to at least 10X every SOC team's output. This achievement publicly validates our commitment to making that vision a reality.
