As my summer comes to an end, I’d like to express my gratitude to Custom Flavors for having me as an R&D Intern. During my time here, I had the opportunity to explore various aspects of the industry, including analytical techniques and flavor chemistry. Going into this experience, I knew little to nothing about this field, but now I can confidently say that I’ve learned a lot and genuinely enjoyed the experience. Using the knowledge gained in class within a practical setting was particularly rewarding. From Compounding flavors to understanding the sensory perception of the formulation, I appreciated the chance to apply theory to real-world scenarios.
