Back in May, Custom Culinary® unveiled its new sustainable office environment, which included a Flex Farm indoor garden from Fork Farms. The team is now enjoying regular harvests of fresh produce. Last Thursday, our team gathered for our monthly Fork Farms harvest luncheon. Everyone enjoyed a build-your-own salad bar featuring our homegrown sustainable greens, herbs, vegetables, and five homemade dressing options. Diners also loaded up on lemon and garlic herb chicken, grilled summer vegetables, and juicy peaches drizzled with honey and crumbled amaretti cookies. "I love the connection this creates between the growing of fresh produce and the food our chefs are serving,” said Chef Michael Manno, “This will be a great way to build community and incorporate seasonal vegetables and herbs into our recipe development.” Sharon Delatorre, Product Development Manager, leads the indoor garden effort and adds, “So far, the farming has been easy.
