DivcoWest is thrilled to announce the latest addition to the restaurant scene at CX, Tap 151 Bar + Grill, a vibrant new dining destination designed for entertainment enthusiasts of all ages and those looking for their go-to neighborhood hangout. The opening of this modern and lively eatery at the ground level of Park 151 provides yet another option where residents, tenants, the community, and visitors can create meaningful moments at Cambridge Crossing. The concept, envisioned by local restaurateur Davidson Bettero, aims to further enrich the East Cambridge neighborhood with a new place that offers an extensive beer list, an upscale pub menu and 15 TVs to catch your favorite game. It’s a new addition to the growing CX neighborhood that offers something for everyone. Shout out to our retail leasing partners at Graffito SP, Jesse Baerkahn, and David Downing, for their roles in finalizing this successful transaction and collaboration. We are thrilled to announce that Astellas Pharma has officially opened its doors at Cambridge Crossing! Last week's grand opening marked a significant milestone as we welcomed Astellas to their new home here at CX.   Astellas has taken up residence in two floors of our latest life science building at 441 Morgan, in a state-of-the-art space that combines both lab and office. This setup not only facilitates their innovative work, but the location enhances their connectivity with a well-established network of partners across Kendall Square and Greater Boston.   The decision to choose Cambridge Crossing came after a meticulous search for the perfect location, with Astellas considering over 20 potential sites. DivcoWest is honored that they chose CX, and we all are excited to see the positive impact they will make on the future of healthcare.   Tadaaki Taniguchi, Chief Medical Officer at Astellas, shared insights with the Boston Business Journal about their expansion and decision to join us at CX. This move signifies the growth of the Tokyo-based firm within Massachusetts, and we look forward to supporting them in their journey to improve lives through science.   Welcome to the neighborhood, Astellas!   Read more about Astellas at CX, link below.

Award-winning design, inside and out✨ Park 151 has won a 2024 Rethinking The Future Award! This recognition brings Park 151’s architectural design story to the international stage, following two interior design awards (IIDA NE and Muse International) and a ULI award for the CBT-designed Cambridge Crossing (CX) master plan this past year. Expanding on the larger CX vision to transform the site of an inaccessible, contaminated railyard into a vibrant mixed-use community, the 20-story, 468-unit Park 151 introduces one of the first multifamily residences to the neighborhood, bringing with it a collection of retail and new public spaces. From its strategic massing and orientation to a community-driven street presence and colorful, detailed interiors, Park 151’s design is the architectural embodiment of Cambridge’s character: artistic and scientific, with an elegant minimalism that belies its complexity. Congratulations to the entire team! The annual Kendall Square Challenge perfectly encapsulates the adage that “teamwork makes the dream work!” Each year, the life sciences community in Cambridge comes together to compete, collaborate, celebrate, and make a difference by raising money and awareness for five local non-profits. DivcoWest is proud to have kicked off this “Olympic” event this year at CX, helping to launch more than 500 people and 55 teams out into Kendall Square in pursuit of team building, community, and the coveted Kendall Cup! Congratulations to the winning teams (and the Divco/CX team for coming in fifth place!) Thank you to everyone who participated, we can’t wait to see you again next year!

Today, we honor and celebrate the end of slavery and continue to fight for and embrace equality and inclusivity for all in our community. Juneteenth (June 19, 1865), also recognized as African American Emancipation day, is the oldest nationally/internationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the US, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.   In honor of this historic day, we encourage everyone in our community to celebrate Juneteenth by supporting Black owned businesses and learning more about Juneteenth and the impact it had on our country. Let’s continue to honor freedom, equality, and inclusivity together. Visit https://bit.ly/443Nlke to learn more about Juneteenth. #juneteenth #juneteenth2024

This month we are excited to welcome Cambridge Crossing’s newest restaurant to the neighborhood, Bon Me, at 216 Jacobs Street. Together, we continue to build a culinary scene as diverse as the people who live in and traverse the neighborhood. The Boston born restaurant chain led by Patrick Lynch and Ali Fong has been serving freshly sourced ingredients for their Vietnamese inspired cuisine since 2011, and the CX location will be their ninth storefront in the Boston area. A special shout out to the Graffito SP team Jesse Baerkahn and David Downing, and Martin Benoit on the seamless collaboration on this transaction together with our team.
