☀ Perros-Guirec, just nearby our Lannion site, was the beautiful scenery for the EPIC - EUROPEAN PHOTONICS INDUSTRY CONSORTIUM Technology Meeting organized last week with Photonics Bretagne - Photonics Innovation Hub, and with Exail as a sponsor, on "Specialty #OpticalFibers: New Designs and Novel Applications". ✅ Participants had fruitful discussions with our expert, Nicéphore Nicolas, about the latest innovations in specialty optical fibers but also in fiber Bragg gratings (FBG), another key optical component manufactured in-house in our Lannion site. 🎤 Benoit C. had the chance to introduce more in details where Exail's unique technological know-how comes from (#photonics is at the heart of Exail's vertical integration), and how the current facility extension will further the capacity growth in the years to come (expected to double within 2-3 years).
