It only monitors if your information is compromised or stolen. Which it already is. It DOES NOT fix the problem. A customer or member will still need to go through processes on their own to fix this. Freezing credit, alerting the county where their deed resides, calling their apartment management company, locking down their SSN, reaching out to all of their credit card facilities and the credit bureau’s, the IRS, file police reports, notify other financial institutions they have accounts at, scan all their devices, review their email accounts, review account information on subscriptions, or online shopping accounts, and so much more. The federal reserve was indeed confirmed hacked, and as a result, the Arkansas based bank, Evolve Bank, was impacted with a data breach and their customer data published to the Dark Web.
