Neue Erkenntnisse aus der Behandlung des septischen Schocks bei Kindern https://lnkd.in/eQwiH5tj In der Studie wurden 13 kritisch kranke Kinder mit septischem Schock untersucht, die alle eine Kombination aus kontinuierlicher Nierenersatztherapie und CytoSorb® erhielten 🔬 Wesentliche Ergebnisse: - Bei 77% der Patienten Verbesserungen in der Mikrozirkulation nach Hämoadsorption - Positive Korrelation zwischen Mikrozirkulationsverbesserung und hämodynamischer Stabilisierung 🚀 Schlüsselerkenntnisse: - Hämoadsorption könnte einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Verbesserung der Mikrozirkulation und damit der Organperfusion im septischen Schock leisten - Weitere Forschung auch zum besseren Verständnis der Mechanismen nötig 🧱 Forschungskontext: Diese Publikation ergänzt frühere Studien zur Rolle von CytoSorb® hinsichtlich der Verbesserung der Mikrozirkulation #CriticalCare #PediatricHealth #MedicalResearch #InnovationInMedicine

Consistent effect: #CytoSorb shown in meta-analysis to significantly lower elevated bilirubin “Critically ill patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) have been shown to be at risk of developing acute liver dysfunction usually as part of multiorgan failure sequelae. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to assess the effect of hemoadsorption on clinical outcomes and the removal of total bilirubin, as well as the reduction in liver transaminases in critical illness-associated acute liver dysfunction”.
