The Dalio Family Office recently hosted a talk with Richard Buery, CEO of Robin Hood. Robin Hood, a Dalio Philanthropies grantee, elevates New Yorkers out of poverty by funding, supporting, and connecting high-impact community organizations, partnering with government, and advocating for what works so that New York City can be an engine of upward mobility for all.   Richard spoke about the urgent need for policies addressing poverty in NYC, especially around accessible, high-quality childcare for young people. He also shared some of Robin Hood’s most exciting initiatives, like the Learning and Tech Fund, AI Poverty Challenge, and The Funds for the Newest New Yorkers, in addition to other education programs, partnerships, and the life-changing impact of philanthropic work on individuals and communities. The DFO is looking for a dynamic Accounting Associate to join their Accounting & Finance Pillar! This role will report to one of our Accounting Directors and be responsible for performing bookkeeping and accounting activities pertaining to our trust entities as well as owning key projects and processes in the accounting space. We are looking for someone with 5+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment who likes to be challenged and work on a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have experience with carrying out day-to-day ledger functions, reconciliations, financial reporting, and cash management functions.
