Only nine months after its launch, GoTyme Bank reached its first one million customers, and four months later doubled that number to finish 2023 with over 2 million customers. This growth has further accelerated in 2024 with GoTyme Bank adding 1.7 million customers in the first half of the year.  What is fueling this growth? How will GoTyme Bank build on its momentum? “Banking Made Beautiful”-- an even heavier focus on making banking products and processes simpler and more convenient. At a company event yesterday, GoTyme Bank announced a range of new and upcoming products to expand their “beautiful banking” proposition. • International Accounts-- Filipinos living abroad can now open a GoTyme Bank account using an international SIM and enjoy the same benefits and features as local accounts. • Mobile Check Deposit-- Deposit checks in a few easy steps using your GoTyme Bank app.  • Pay With Points-- Users can now use their GoRewards points to purchase load and/or gaming credits. • Coin Deposit Machines-- The first bank partner integrated with the BSP’s Coin Deposit Machines, customers will be able to deposit their coins to be credited straight into a GoTyme Bank account where it’ll earn 60 times more annual interest than the average savings account.     We’re one of the first UK banks to launch our retail banking app on Apple’s Vision Pro. Our mobile app users can use their banking features on the Vision Pro in a safe and secure environment, including accessing our digital assistant, Cora+ which uses the latest generative AI technology. Insights we get from app usage will help us to improve product and service design for our digital features. Speaking on the launch, our Chief Digital Information Officer Wendy Redshaw, said: “It will be interesting to take learnings, understanding how customers use the app in this new technology to deal with their finances, and to understand how we can create bespoke propositions to serve them even better.     Just because account recovery is a high-risk transaction doesn't mean you have to risk losing customers over the traditionally friction-filled processes often implemented to protect them.
