The European Commission recently published its Omnibus Simplification Package, which proposes significant amendments to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), including reducing the number of entities in scope, reducing the mandatory data points under the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and postponing reporting requirements for certain entities.
