DeKalb Entertainment Commission is thrilled to have partnered with Morehouse College for an incredible Student Day at the Morehouse College Human Rights Film Festival! Thanks to this collaboration, over 100 CTAE (Career, Technical & Agricultural Education) students from DeKalb Schools got a behind-the-scenes look into the world of filmmaking and storytelling. Talk about a star-studded educational experience! Student Day also featured the short film, Three Cup Monte by Nora Barksdale, a 2024 DeKalb Student Film Festival winner! Nora and her teacher, Ryan Beddingfield from Lakeside High School joined a panel to discuss the creative process and mindset needed to develop a film project for the festival.
