The Indiana Sports Corp 2024 Corporate Challenge held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a wrap ... almost. Last Friday, employees at global headquarters competed in a wide array of categories for the two-day event that encourages team building with a fitness focus. Options included everything from a 3K walk/run and total body fitness, to pickleball, corn hole, obstacles courses, a soccer shootout, yoga, and so much more. It's always fun when our employees get together, but earlier this month it was even more so when family members joined us for Delta Faucet Company's 70th Anniversary Summer Celebration. Held at Daniel's Vineyard in McCordsville, Indiana, attendees spent the afternoon enjoying music, activities, food trucks and a festive atmosphere in honor of this significant milestone. Our rich history is filled with remarkable moments, teams and innovations, and we appreciate every person—past and present—who has been a part of our success. Getting back to school looked a little different this year for 10 lucky educators, thanks to our Delta Faucet Company team in Jackson, Tennessee, and their $5,000 contribution for a drawing at Jackson Madison County School System's in-service week celebration. Each recipient was treated to a $500 shopping trip for classroom supplies. The outing caught the attention of local WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News, and the resulting news story was aired last week (check it out at the link below). We appreciate our employees who accompanied the winners on this special day. It’s CANstruction time again for our Delta Faucet Company employees in Jackson, Tennessee, and the focus is on canned goods and this year's theme, "End Hunger Me-Ow." The 19th Annual Design/Build Competition will be held on September 26, and brings together teams of Jackson-based businesses, churches, schools, and organizations to showcase their talents by creating giant sculptures made from unopened food cans. All donations benefit RIFA Jackson and will be distributed locally to those in need. We are looking forward to sharing the big sculpture reveal next month. We're helping to celebrate the impact of mentoring and those who make it possible as the Title Sponsor of the upcoming Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana's The Main Event.
