Better Men. Better Lives.
About us
Delta Sigma Phi is a men's fraternity with active chapters in 33 states of the USA. Founded at the City College of New York in 1899, Delta Sigma Phi was the first men's fraternity to initiate men of a variety of religious and ethnic backgrounds. The tradition of breaking cultural norms continued: Delta Sigma Phi was one of the first organizations to ban 'hell week,' one of the first to develop a new member manual, the first fraternity to establish an all-deaf chapter, and the first (and only) organization to incorporate a Statement on Human Dignity into its governing documents, banning discrimination in regard to HIV and AIDS. More than 120,000 men have initiated into Delta Sigma Phi and 111 undergraduate chapters are active today. The Fraternity supports the American Red Cross on a national level, and in 2015 became the first fraternity or sorority to offer a comprehensive mentorship platform to all members. Among the Fraternity's current initiatives are those to grow to 10,000 undergraduate members, to provide education & training to 100% of undergraduate members, and to be the largest single contributor of pints of blood, volunteer hours and philanthropic dollars to the American Red Cross by 2025 (a part of the Fraternity's Vision 2025 strategic plan) For more information, email info@deltasig.org.

Last month, Brother Jason Dekeuster, Wisconsin - Eau Claire '95, was celebrated at a gala thrown in honor of his one-year service as the Commodore for the Aquatennial Ambassador Program in Minneapolis. Jason is active in his community, volunteering with Saint Paul Rotary, Saint Paul Winter Carnival, and Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. Jason’s volunteer experiences have given him a unique perspective on community – whether it be at a local or national level. He is passionate about giving back to those in need and focuses his time on helping others develop strong leadership skills. Jason believes leadership plays a pivotal role in shaping personal and organizational success, and raising up effective leaders not only brings out the best in an individual, but it builds up their community as well. Thank you for being the epitome of a better man, Brother Dekeuster!

📣 Thank You for an Amazing Leadership Institute! 📣 We are excited to share that our recent Delta Sigma Phi Leadership Institute was a tremendous success! We had 30 undergraduate members representing 18 of our chapters attend LI at Camp Tecumseh last week to develop their leadership skills. Together, we engaged in dynamic workshops, an inspiring keynote, and unforgettable brotherhood experiences. The dedication and enthusiasm shown by each brother exemplify the spirit of Delta Sigma Phi.

"This past month I had the ability to work alongside my local U.S. Coast Guard Station through a university program offered by the Coast Guard. This program is called the Auxiliary University Program (AUP), and provides college students interested in commissioning into the USCG as an Officer an opportunity to build experience and see what day-to-day life is like. Throughout the length of my internship, I was able to participate in Search and Rescue(SAR), Environmental Protection, Boating Safety, and other types of cases. It was an excellent opportunity and any person or brother 17 years or older can participate in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. It’s an excellent resume builder that can introduce each one of us to excellent connections." Landon Draper, UNC Charlotte '21, For more information on the program overview, visit www.cgauxedu.us. Brother Draper also said he'd be happy to connect with any of his brothers who are interested in learning more. Shoot us an email at communications@deltasig.org and we'll be sure to get you in contact!
