What is the DREAM Team?
The Democracy Prep Public Schools DREAM Team brings together a mix of broad educational experiences, business expertise, and organizational savvy. Our DREAM Team is the reason for Democracy Prep’s success, and we are always considering new ways to have the greatest impact. Scholars and staff at Democracy Prep live by our DREAM values: Discipline, Respect, Enthusiasm, Accountability, and Maturity.

We are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional adults to work in and for our schools. Democracy Prep staff members receive weekly professional development during the school year and three weeks of intensive professional development in the summer, and are guided by explicit career ladders and opportunities for growth.

Our civics program encourages scholars to enact positive change through many initiatives such as registering members of the community to vote, and community service. Every senior participates in a year-long "Change the World" project, where scholars research and address a need in the community. Our citizen-scholars are prepared with explicit knowledge, skills, and dispositions to take leadership roles in civil society and democratic institutions upon graduation from college.
