The February employment report released Friday has job counts growing by 1.8% across the past 12 months. This growth accounts for nearly 31,900 new jobs in the state. February’s unemployment rate held at just 3.2%. The report is highlighted by a strong upward trend in private sector hiring since the middle of last year. Right now, we're looking at 1.5% growth. This accounts for a steady climb up from just 0.3% last June. Major drivers of this growth include private education and health services, construction and manufacturing.
