  • Just wrapped an incredible event filled with so many moving parts! From Cvent registration and managing room blocks with Passkey to coordinating F&B and BEOs with Amway and layouts with DeVos, it was a blast! AV came together with the help of Aria Show & KBO, and it was an honor to coordinate the keynote with David Pogue from CBS Sunday Morning. Conference bags from Green Giftz, a welcome reception with guitarist Colin Tobin, and an interactive graffiti wall by IceGuru were just a few highlights. We even hosted a sponsor reception at Woodrow’s Duckpin with catering by Amway. Huge thanks to everyone who made it happen! AvaSure was a success and a huge shoutout to Jackie for being the lead on this!

  • GATHER Calgary 🍁! Kathy, Bridget, and Jordan were with the Gather team in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! Bridget and Jordan started the week at the airport welcoming domestic and international flights while Kathy was at the Carriage House Hotel and Conference Center welcoming the guests and assisting them with the check-in process. For the rest of the meeting, the team supported the guests and made sure everyone had all the materials needed. On the final day after all meetings concluded, we organized river rafting for staff followed by a BBQ dinner! We always enjoy working with the Gather team - the next stop is Boston, MA!

    Jaclyn Stone, CMP, CTA and Kayleen Van Gelder were in Albuquerque, New Mexico last week onsite with the @NAPSA Conference! Jackie managed session proposals, working with a team to score and select sessions. She assigned time slots, coordinated speaker availability, and allocated rooms based on popularity, ensuring a balanced distribution of session tracks. She also oversaw the speaker portal, ensuring profiles and session materials were updated, and worked with the client and convention center on AV, layouts, and on-site needs. Kayleen coordinated registration by setting up three large Cvent OnArrival stations, each equipped with 12 iPads and 6 printers, facilitating the check-in of over 1,200 attendees. Additionally, she developed and managed the event app, which was downloaded by over 1,000 users, and achieved over 80% utilization throughout the event. #conferenceplanning #traveleventstaff #onsiteregistration

  • Gather Vancouver 🇨🇦 Kathy, Bridget, and Anna were onsite with the Christian Reformed Church for the 2nd of 10 Gather events! Our team assisted with all pre-event registration, Bridget and Anna were at the airport welcoming guests off their flights, and directing them to the hotel shuttle. We also assisted with onsite logistics, all food and beverage needs, and ensuring all guests were taken care of!   • Tech Week Grand Rapids 2024 was a success.     Bridget Radzicki, CTA recently went on a site visit to the Muskegon Art Museum. Ruby Chaise (pictures in photo two), the Director of Development took Bridget around the exhibits and construction, explaining the progress of the museum's $15.1M expansion. This expansion will include more galleries, a new museum store, event space, loading docks, and a public outdoor garden all set to be completed in 2025.   • Our team successfully assisted with the Life Learn Animal Health event on Mackinac Island. Upon arrival, we greeted guests at Shepler's Ferry and assisted them with navigating to The Grand Hotel or arranging carriage rides. For those riding carriages, we provided tickets to eliminate out-of-pocket costs. On the second day, we offered a variety of off-site activities, including a Sip 'n Sail, fudge-making, and a bike tour around the island. For the evening, we hosted an equestrian-themed dinner at the Grand Hotel Stables, featuring delicious food and the opportunity to interact with horses. On the final day, our staff ensured a smooth departure for all guests, including assistance with luggage. We accomplished our goal to provide a seamless experience for everyone!
