Taken as part of a documentary photography class taught by Bill Rauhauser at the College for Creative Studies in the 1970s and 80s, these student photos capture striking views of the station a few years before the last train departed. On Wednesday, March 13, admission will be FREE as we help launch a new line of historically inspired apparel with Detroit vs. Everybody. ✂️ The museum will host a unique pop-up exhibit of garments and home accessories created by Tommey Walker of Detroit vs. Everybody. Drawing inspiration from Detroit history along with artifacts in the Detroit Historical Society collection, Walker's designs promise to offer a unique perspective on Detroit's rich heritage. No advance registration is necessary.
