Our tools for improving youth program quality are: - collecting and using shared data on quality and youth's social-emotional development - providing engaging professional development workshops to youth workers and managers - coaching youth program professionals to continuously improve their practice - by providing opportunities for networking, connection, and resource sharing among Detroit's youth development community

We wanted to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who attended our 2024 YDRC Unify to Liberate Summit last week! The summit was indeed filled with insightful discussions, engaging sessions, and meaningful networking opportunities. A special thank you to: -Terry Whitfield for his inspiring keynote address -Myka Burley for her outstanding job as our host -Our workshop facilitators, whose expertise and dedication provided attendees with actionable strategies and fostered engaging conversations -Kerrie Mitchell for moderating the lunch panel -Our amazing panelists, Cyekeia Lee, Erin Skene-Pratt, Vanessa Samuelson, Angelica Williams, and Janiala Young, who provided valuable insights and fostered dynamic discussions (a very special shout out to our two youth panelists, Angelica and Janiala, for demonstrating youth leadership!) During the summit, we were honored to recognize several individuals and organizations for their exceptional contributions.
