Great to be in Amsterdam for #IBC2024! I had the pleasure of hosting an event where Cisco customers and partners discussed the latest AI, security, 5G, cloud, and All-IP innovations to enable more immersive experiences to audiences everywhere. We learned how Olympic Broadcasting Services produced a staggering 11,000 hours (i.e., about a year and a half!) of footage during Paris 2024 to give sports fans all the action live and behind the scenes. We also heard about the incredible feat of broadcasting the Olympics opening ceremony live using private 5G – a world-first. With end-to-end 8K live streaming for the first time too, Paris 2024 really pushed the boundaries. But, without the right network, none of this innovation would be possible.
