    We love parks and the outdoors, which is why we are so grateful to introduce our brand + strategy work for the new Eons Adventure Park located in Erlanger, KY. A 1000+ acre adventure park and preserve designed for every generation. It will include features such as mountain bike trails, natural playscapes, stream-side classrooms, hiking trails, canopy trails, public art, epic viewpoints, public pavilion, local businesses, and more. This transformative project is the vision of Mayor Jessica Fette, the City of Erlanger, meetNKY Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau, with the help of our super talented friends at Human Nature, Inc. A core principle of our work is to help build and preserve a better future for our friends. This new park is going to be big, bold and will be a legacy that continues to be fruitful for generations to come. The name, Eons, encapsulates our Strategic Vision: a "Forever Adventure Park." Built for the present and designed to perpetually last to the edges of time. Eons is a monumental step in creating a more connected community around outdoor recreation in Northern Kentucky. Eons is soon to be home to infinite play, infinite exploration, and infinite memories. The logo mark and brand visuals were inspired by the seasons of the tulip poplar, abundant throughout the park's land and Kentucky's state tree.     Beast Mode Initiated. Introducing OddBeast We partnered with OddBeast, an uncommon motion and design studio, to develop new Naming, Positioning, Identity, and a fresh Website for our super talented friends that captures their distinct spirit of joy and mastery in motion. The goal was to provide them with a brand they could build upon, rather than simply adhere to. They accomplished exactly that.     New Work for New Riff. Headliner, A Blend Worthy of Top Billing. We've put together a case study to share a dream project we just completed with New Riff Distilling. It's exciting to come across a project like this—where we get to flex a lot of different muscles and push our creativity. We were honored to design the visuals for New Riff's inaugural Headliner release. This is New Riff’s most creative release to date, and they were looking for a brand to match that creative spirit. The solution: a vibrant hand screen printed label as unique as the “supergroup” blend itself, a headlining act. This project included packaging, illustration, motion + sound, and a poster for New Riff’s first annual blended experience. Designed and distilled in support of local charities to exemplify their mission of sampling their full distilling catalogue to create a supergroup of whiskeys.     We’re very excited to share our latest brand transformation for our pals Better Butter. For this dreamy brand revolution, we discovered a strategic opportunity to disrupt the entire butter category simply by looking into what its community already knew and loved them for: Flavor. It is no secret that quality butter is amazing and most everyone uses it in their daily life, but high grade flavored butter choices offer adventurous home cooks a new expectation of what butter can be and do. Dewhaus worked closely with Better Butter to develop a new brand identity, brand position, packaging system, sonic branding, copywriting, branded video, website, campaign and much more. We revolutionized the Better Butter brand and its entire platform using a colorful, clever, soulful lens that pushes against the boring country farm tropes of so many others in the category and better aligns to the authentic product offering. Or as the largest peer review platform Brand New puts it: “This transformation definitely leans into category disruption as a strategy to stand out and differentiate itself, succeeding with a great unexpected logo and enough attitude to make you rethink what butter should or could be and taste like.” More to follow.     It’s Not a Butter of If, but When • New Logo, Identity, and Packaging for Better Butter by Dewhaus and In-house — 🧑💼 ABOUT THE CLIENT Established in 2008 as Chef Shamy Gourmet until 2022 when it changed its name, Better Butter offers a variety of sweet and savory craft butter made with real flavors and only the freshest of butter — in their words, “straight from the cows that roam the galaxy” but officially from a farmer-owned dairy farm in Southern Idaho — with no oils, water, or preservatives of any kind. Founded by David Shamy, who came up with his original garlic butter recipe for a fundraiser for his daughter’s drama club, his concoction eventually landed on the shelves of Sam’s Club and in 2021 the company was sold to a private equity group. Since then, the brand’s flavors and distribution have continued to expand in part thanks to the real ingredients but in part also because of their butter’s shelf-stable life that can remain unrefrigerated and at room temperature for up to six weeks after being open.     *New Whiskey Work for New Riff* Challenge: Can a rock poster be a whiskey label? Our answer: Hell Yes. Our good friends at New Riff Distilling called upon Dewhaus to create a custom label, poster, and launch video for their inaugural Headliner release. Since New Riff was founded ten years ago in 2014 they’ve focused on making great whiskey as a vehicle for good. The inaugural Headliner release exemplifies this mission - sampling their full distilling catalog to create a supergroup of whiskeys. This year's Headliner is anchored by our first ever bourbon whiskey, now ten years old. With proceeds from each bottle benefiting local charities, Headliner truly takes center stage. We dug into the archives of classic psychedelic rock posters across time to represent the transcendent blended experience that the distillation team was after. The result: custom hand screen printed labels for each bottle (printed by our pals at DIY and Otto Printing) with the spirits. A free poster that goes with each bottle and a custom song and video to go with the launch. As the Hannah Lowen, CEO of New Riff put it: “This is our most creative release we’ve ever made.”We were honored to help out.     Introducing the New NewCath. We went back up to school to build a refreshed brand identity and system for Newport Central Catholic - or The Hill as we call it. Here’s a launch video we made to celebrate. Enjoy! Using the school’s rich culture and proud 128 year legacy as a foundation we developed new instituional logos, spirit marks, patterns, school uniforms, athletics uniforms, website, enrollment collateral, advertising, environmental design, wayfinding and much more. All was built around a strategic purpose to provide a more faithful and multi-dimensional education experience that builds the whole student. More to come. Together, we bring the visions of brave brand leaders to life through world class creativity, artistry, and design execution. We used to dream of a day where we would have the privilege to announce our own home for design and brand and now that day has arrived. You have played a part in us getting to this point whether you realize or not. SERIOUSLY. THANK YOU. We are so grateful to have built this creative company together as a family with our best friends. This lifelong dream would not be possible without a community of people who believe in us day in and day out.
