Raleigh Housing Authority is pleased to announce a new way for Raleigh residents to access affordable housing! Rock Quarry Landing, a brand new 188-unit apartment complex, is partnering with RHA to offer our first Project-Based Vouchers (PBV). Unlike traditional tenant-based vouchers, PBV housing assistance is linked to a particular property. The new vouchers will house 26 individuals and families for up to 20 years, with no more than 30% of their income going towards rent. Stay tuned to see more affordable housing coming through the RHA pipeline! Appreciation to partners and those who gave special remarks at last week's ribbon cutting, marking the grand opening of the community: Charlie Heritage of South Creek Development; Corey Branch, City Council Member for the City of Raleigh Municipal Government; RHA CEO Ashley Lommers-Johnson; Wake County Public School System Board Member Toshiba Rice; NC Representative Rosa Gill; the NCHFA; Hill Tide Partners and so many others who helped bring this project to fruition.
