It’s been a big week for DigitalDx Ventures at the Life Science Intelligence (LSI) Emerging MedTech Conference in Dana Point. On Tuesday morning (March 18) Optina Diagnostics CEO Dave Anderson addressed the conference and discussed Optina’s game-changing FDA 510(k) cleared hyper spectral camera and AI platform to enable eye specialists to more accurately diagnose and manage early, intermediate and late-stage retinal disease, including monitoring therapeutic effectiveness in at-risk patients. Tomorrow morning (March 20) at 11:25AM (PDT) NOWDiagnostics | NOWDx CEO Robert Weigle will discuss the “Touch to Test” over-the-counter and point of care diagnostic tests that yield results in minutes developed and manufactured by NOWDx. Last August NOWDx was granted marketing authorization by the FDA for their 'First to Know Syphilis Test.' The company’s patented approach allows for virtually any immunological assay to be accurately performed onsite in one step using a tiny amount of capillary blood or, in some cases, saliva. In addition, two of DigitalDx Ventures' Experts-in-Residence were featured at LSI. Laura Yecies CEO of Osteoboost Health, Inc. presented on stage and Debbie Lin, PhD PhD participated in a panel titled "How Can Clinical, Supplier, and Other Types of Partnerships Make Precision Medicine a Reality?" . #AI #HealthTech #HealthTechNews #ImpactInvesting #EarlyDiagnostics
