This Meet The Staff Monday, we’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on our incredible Senior Event Manager, Lucie Ashe. Since joining Do Good Events in 2019, Lucie has infused every event with her vibrant personality and unwavering commitment. Her knack for organization is truly remarkable! Curious to know more about her? Here are Five Fast Facts about Lucie! 1) Lucie is a HUGE animal lover! To her husband and dog's dismay, she is makes it a habit to become friends with the grey squirrels, chipmunks, and flying squirrels that live in their backyard! (Her Christmas tree ornaments are also about 75% woodland creatures.) 2) From an authentic-ish green curry, to homemade pasta and pesto using basil from her garden, to zingy and super tart lemon bars, Lucie embraces her love of cooking and baking! 3) She went to the University of Minnesota and has a degree in Apparel Design with a minor in Retail Merchandising. After years of producing and working backstage at fashion shows, she is now applying the attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast pace environment to all different kinds of events. to planning all different kinds of events! 4) Her guilty pleasure is binge watching every season and franchise of Love Is Blind. 5) Lucie played violin and piano through high school and college and is working to get back into music!

Last week, we were joined by Daisy and Diane from Make-A-Wish Minnesota Make-A-Wish Minnesota for a behind-the-scenes look at event planning. Daisy's wish is to be an Event Manager, and we had the honor to bring her to a meeting to discuss decor and design for an upcoming event. Thanks to EventLab for the warehouse tour and showing us everything that goes into organizing their incredible inventory.
