On this Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we celebrate and honor the vibrant past, present and future of Indigenous communities. As our Alaska Native Landowners own the resource, the Donlin Gold project is dedicated to preserving subsistence lifestyles and delivering meaningful benefits to the Yukon-Kuskokwim region.

Donlin Gold is proud to attend the First Alaskans Elders and Youth Conference, a space for Alaska Native communities to share and learn about traditional practices, arts and advocacy. This year, the conference spotlights Dinjii Zhuh K’yàa, the language of the Gwich’in peoples. A heartfelt Mahsi' choo to First Alaskans Institute for hosting this annual event!

Safety and environmental care are at the forefront of Donlin Gold’s operations. By following the International Cyanide Management Code, Donlin Gold will take responsible measures to manage and mitigate the impact of cyanide in the mining process. The 2024 Backhaul Project responsibly removed over 141,000 pounds of electronic waste from the Y-K Delta! Donlin Gold is proud to partner for the seventh consecutive year of this effort, protecting the environment and bettering the communities in the area. We extend our gratitude to the partners, IGAP workers and community members for their support in promoting the health and well-being of the Y-K region.
